IPAA, Seeing Red Media, Thru the RedDoor, and ImagineNATIVE proudly present Actin’ Rez—a three-day Symposium tailored for Indigenous artists, creators, and media professionals working in the screen industry.

This collaborative program aims to empower and equip participants with essential skills and knowledge to help them break through and thrive in the entertainment industry. Participants will gain hands-on experience with industry professionals, learn from agents in the field, learn production skills, and more.

Taking place over 3 days in Six Nations of the Grand River Territory, workshops include: Theatre to Screen acting, Audition Techniques and Preparation, In Front of the Camera, Hosting On Screen, and Comedic Acting.

Join us for an immersive experience filled with learning, networking, and professional development from incredibly talented Indigenous artist facilitators such as Sera-Lys McArthur, Leenah Robinson, Star Slade and Keenan Grom.

IPAA recognizes the generous contributions of the Ontario Arts Council, Seeing Red Media, Thru the RedDoor, and imagineNATIVE.
