Soundin’ REZ 2026

Application Deadline: January 30, 2026

IPAA, Seeing Red Media, Thru the RedDoor, Ontario Presents, and The Sanderson Centre proudly present Soundin’ Rez—a three-day Symposium tailored for Indigenous artists, creators, and media professionals working in sound.

This three-day immersive event offers a series of training sessions, workshops, and discussions focused on sound production, audio technologies, and creative collaboration within Indigenous arts and media. Participants will gain hands-on experience with industry professionals, learn from agents in the field, techniques to strengthen vocals, and more.

Each day will feature expert-led workshops and discussions designed to enhance technical skills and creative approaches. We invite Indigenous participants to step into the studio, experience professional recording environments, foster creativity, mentorship, and musical exploration in a supportive space.

Participants are invited to join in a jam session at The Sanderson Centre for presenters from Ontario Presents.

Join us for an engaging experience filled with learning, networking, and professional development, featuring talented facilitators dedicated to amplifying Indigenous voices through sound.

IPAA recognizes the generous contributions of the Department of Canadian Heritage, the Ontario Arts Council, Seeing Red Media, Thru the Red Door, Ontario Presents & The Sanderson Centre.
