Indigenous Artist

I grew into a family of artists/musicians and athletes, I sang, played piano and guitar and did artistic gymnastics; where I quickly was recruited for high performance. After 12 years in this sport, I began a professional career with Cirque du Soleil (CDS) in 1998 and I traveled the world until 2018 with more than 6000 shows as a circus artist and singer with Quidam, Corteo and Amaluna. I have innovated in the circus world by combining aerial circus art with vocals.
This lifestyle has shaped who I am today; perseverant, creative, and passionate. Since 2018, I devote my energy as an acrobatic designer, and I specialize in aerial research and development of the human body movements.
Always an artist at heart and the desire to pursue an artistic career, I fell in love with jewelry and began my education at the Montreal jewelry school in January 2019 with Antonio Serafino, a well known jeweller in haute joallerie.
I come from a direct indigenous lineage of Grand Chief Nicolas Vincent (Wendat Huron) where my great-grandmother Ernestine Cloutier unfortunately lost her Indian status by marrying a “non-Indian”. This law has historically discriminated against indigenous women. Today, fortunately my generation has the right to regain our Indian status. Since March 5th, 2024, I have been officially registered with my people – Huron Wendat Nation.
