Indigenous Artist

Bridget Melody is a Toronto based Indie/folk singer/songwriter and visual artist.

Armed with powerful vocals and a distinctive style, Bridget captivates audiences with engaging songs that stir the soul, challenge the conscience and elevate the spirit.

Drawing from a mixed heritage of French Canadian, Mi'kmaq and Italian roots, an integral part of Bridget Melody’s artistry comes from her deep connection to land and spirit along with a driving passion to exalt truth and beauty.

In collaboration with award winning producer/arranger Chris Birkett, and with support from the Ontario Arts Council, Bridget released her debut album ‘Spirit Dance’ on March 11, 2021 and without skipping a beat is working on a follow up album called ‘Spirit Song’. The inspiration for this collective body of work comes from a desire to see justice, love and harmony prevail in a world of increasing madness, using the power of words and music to incite action towards impactful change.

In June 2022, Bridget Melody was nominated for a SIFA award (Social Impact Film and Arts Festival) in the category of Best Social Impact for Music and Art.

Bridget has made appearances on Radio shows such as 106.5FM The ELMNT ~ The Spirit of Toronto , 100.9 FM Tales from the Big Canoe, CFTA FM 107.9 featured on The Maritimes Musicians Series, The Undiscovered Show on CIUT 89.5FM as well as received repeated airplay on numerous Community/Campus Stations across Canada and Internationally.

Currently, Bridget is focused on studio recording, working in creative partnership with Producer Eeladias.
