Shannon Thunderbird, (M.A.), (B.A. Hon.), is a Coast Tsm'syen Elder, Gilut'sau Band of the Royal House of Niis'gumiik, Gispudwada (Orca) Clan (northern B.C.) She is a celebrated, international Speaker/Educator/Storyteller who introduces audiences to the history, culture, and spirituality of Canada's Indigenous People. She is also a Singer/Songwriter, Recording Artist, Actor, Writer and Painter.
