My name is Océane Kitura Bohémier-Tootoo, I’m 17 years old and I’m Inuit. I was born and raised in Iqaluit (NU) and pursued my studies in the province of Quebec. I speak French and English. I have studied in a professional musical theatre program in high school and I am now finishing my first year in a musical theatre program in College. I have created a musical based on the Inuit legend Sedna, which was funded by the City of Gatineau. I have also performed some of my original songs for festivals.
