VISUAL & PERFORMING ARTIST:
Brander Raven McDonald is a Peguis Status Cree (Manitoba, Canada), Artist, Performer & Facilitator living with his lovely wife Jil of Mohawk heritage on the unceded Sto:lo Territory.

Brander holds a BA in Fine Arts and Psychology concentrations, as well as a diploma in Recording and Audio Engineering. He is a trained counsellor and talented multi-media artist and gifted Indigenous role model.
Many people describe him as quietly and powerfully talented, a deep thinker, listener in whose intuitiveness is valued by all who have worked with him and especially to those who have been touched by his talents and abilities. He is proudly Spiritual and has always felt a powerful personal connection to Creator and credits this for sustaining him in trials of life. Brander's hope is to present encouragement through his Arts based on his Indigenous cultural identity.

Brander has been painting, songwriting and performing for decades. He has extensive training in arts, recording engineering, music theory, songwriting, performance and culture. He is especially proud and grateful to have worked and lived with the late Larry Norman (the Gospel Rock innovator) as a producer’s assistant & opening act for Solid Rock records Studio City, California and shares the healing aspects of song, art and cultural.
