Matiu vient de Maliotenam, une communauté innue située sur la Côte-Nord du Québec. Paré de sa guitare, l’auteur-compositeur-interprète présente un spectacle folk-blues où les textes en français et en innu s’entrecroisent. Matiu relate son histoire et celle de sa communauté à travers des textes qui traitent du quotidien, des relations humaines et familiales ainsi que la quête identitaire autochtone. Il se démarque partout où il passe et séduit le public grâce à sa personnalité colorée, attachante et authentique.
