Grades 6-12 Kaha:wi Dance Theatre’s electrifying, immersive performance SKéN:NEN pulses with Indigenous futurism. Rooted in the Kanyen'kéha word for peace, SKéN:NEN weaves a hauntingly beautiful narrative set in a post-environmental collapse. Through movement, sound, and story, it channels ancestral Rotinonshón:ni knowledge, resilience, and the urgent need to restore harmony with the natural world. Created by Santee Smith (Six Nations), SKéN:NEN is bold and visionary, a multi-sensory experience that is both a warning and a call to remember: the future depends on how we care for the Earth.
