  • Canadian Association of Fringe Festivals (CAFF)
    CAFF is a non-profit organization with the following mandate: to safeguard the integrity of Fringe Festivals as outlined in the four minimum criteria, to recognize that the health of all member Festivals is important to the Circuit and therefore the artists’ health as a whole, and to encourage communication and cooperation between member Festivals thereby fostering the continuity of our guiding principles. Canada enjoys more fringe festivals than any other country in the world. The North American Fringe Circuit overcomes these barriers by providing artists and the audiences a theatrical experience like no other in the world on an unjuried, first-come, first served/lottery basis.

  • Canadian Institute for Theatre Technology (CITT)
    CITT connects theatre technicians and members with professional development, networking, safety and technology issues and information in Canada.

  • Canadian Alliance of Dance Artists (CADA)
    CADA has two chapters: one in British Columbia (CADA-BC) and the other in Ontario (CADA-ON).
    CADA is a service organization for professional dancers. It offers training subsidy programmes for BC and Ontario artists. As well, CADA provides workshops and medical/dental insurance information.

  • Dance Transition Resource Centre
    The Dance Transition Resource Centre is a service organization for dancers.  Membership provides opportunities to train across artistic fields (retraining funds), funding for skill development, as well as programming and business related workshops.  This organization also pays for personal and professional counseling. It assists dancers in arranging financial counseling.

    Established in 1986 as a resource centre for the dance profession and the public in British Columbia, The Dance Centre has evolved into a multifaceted organization offering a range of activities unparalleled in Canadian dance. Seeking to boost the profile of dance, and to develop a stronger infrastructure for the artform, The Dance Centre devises programs and presents performances; manages Scotiabank Dance Centre, Canada’s flagship dance facility; promotes BC dance to the public and to presenters; and provides resources and services for the dance profession.
